Amsterdam: Rijksmuseum and Citytour
Hello everyone! The History Committee is back with our last event of the year, and it’s going to be the best one so far: we are taking a trip to Amsterdam!
Now what makes this day trip so special?
During this day trip, the committee is going to give you a free, ‘professional’ tour of the city and highlight some of Amsterdam’s biggest and most historic attractions!
After this we will be making our way to the world renowned Rijksmuseum where we will spend the afternoon soaking up the art and culture of the museum. And how will we finish this day? Drinks, of course!! If the weather is nice we will enjoy some drinks at Vondelpark, and if the weather is bad, no problem-we will just go to a local bar!
And the trip gets even better because our price is absolutely unbeatable. The committee wants to make this event the best of the year, so we will be covering the museum and train fare!
The price of the trip is:
ACE> Members: 7.50 Euro
Non-members: 10.00 Euro
And now for further practical matters:
Date: May 9th 2017 (10am-5ish)
Location: Meet under the white cloud lights in Rotterdam central at 10.00am.
NOTE: We will be taking the intercity direct train to Amsterdam and all participants must cover their own toll fare which is 2.40 euro each way. So every participant needs to bring along an OV card which will cover the price of the toll to and from Amsterdam (4.80 total).
Also, the committee would like to ask everyone to write on the wall and say if you either have a Dutch OV card or not, so we know how many train tickets to purchase.
And lastly, if you hold a Dutch OV AND a Museumkaart please email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know!
We hope to see you all on the trip- and buy your tickets fast because spots are limited!
